These terms cover what you can expect from OW Publishing House, and what we ask in return. We keep them short and honest.
1. What we do
OW provides publishing services across four lanes, self-publishing production and Book Growth, The Agent Route, and Local Print, as described on this site. The exact scope, deliverables and price for your project are set out in the quote we agree with you before work begins.
2. Quotes & payment
Prices are custom to each book and confirmed in your quote. We accept USD, Euro, Pounds, USDT, and the Naira equivalent; the payment schedule (including any deposit) is confirmed in your quote before work begins. For the Book Growth retainer, our management fee is separate from your advertising spend, which you pay to the platforms directly.
3. Your rights & ownership
You keep 100% of your rights and every copy of your book. Paying us for a service never transfers ownership to us. See our Author Rights & Ownership Statement for the full promise.
4. Your responsibilities
You confirm that the work you send us is yours to publish and doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You're responsible for approving your final files, cover, interior, metadata and pricing, before anything goes live.
5. Honest limits
On The Agent Route, we prepare and position your manuscript, but we cannot and do not guarantee that any agent will offer representation. Across all lanes, we don't guarantee specific sales figures, publishing outcomes depend on many factors outside anyone's control.
6. Revisions & refunds
[Revision rounds and refund policy to be confirmed by OW.] Because much of our work is bespoke and begins as soon as a project is booked, please raise any concerns early so we can put them right.
7. Third-party platforms
We publish and manage on third-party platforms (such as Amazon KDP and IngramSpark). Their own terms, fees and rules apply to your book, and we don't control their decisions or policies.
